Giant Squid Press is a full service graphic design and letterpress printing studio in Astoria, Queens, New York City. We specialize in design and printing for independent musicians and businesses. We design and print custom made wedding invitations and stationary. We use hand-set antique metal and 19th century wood type to create a truely one of a kind impression. Since our inception we have strived to be a responsible sustainable business. Our house stock paper is tree free 100% cotton Crain's Lettra paper and 100% Post-Consumer Waste (PCW) Strathmore papers. We use low-VOC ink and recycled ink whenever possible and we clean our presses with no-VOC vegetable oil.

In 2006 Giant Squid Press was officially launched with the addition of a full service letterpress studio to their inventory of computers, photocopiers and old silkscreens

Our 500 sq ft studio in Astoria, New York City is overflowing with metal type and antique turn of the century woodtype.
